This fast smartphone is designed for business use The full-featured Droid Bionic smartphone combines 4G LTE service, a dual-core proces- sor, a large screen and the latest version of Android, making it blazingly fast. These features add up to a phone that’s well-suited for business use. The Bionic uses Verizon’s new 4G LTE network, which uploads and downloads data many times faster than a 3G network. For an extra fee, you also can use the Bionic as a mobile hotspot, enabling connection of up to five devices via Wi-Fi. The Bionic has a dual-core, 1GHz Texas Instruments processor; 2GB of ROM for the operating system and applications; 1GB of RAM; and 16GB of built-in storage, as well as a 16GB MicroSD card that can be upgraded to 32GB — that’s enough total storage to hold 48GB of music, video and other data. The phone can capture 1080p HD video with the 8-megapixel camera. A front-facing
camera enables video conferencing. The

If you’re an appraiser who spends a lot of
time in the field, the $300 LapDock accessory
may be helpful. It has an 11. 6 inch display
with keyboard and trackpad that plug into
the phone and could potentially replace your
laptop. In addition, the phone comes loaded
with an application called ZumoCast, which
enables you to remotely access files (
document, photos, PowerPoint, music, video) on
your PC.
