Apple brings light touch
to new MacBook Pro
The latest version of the MacBook Pro is thinner and lighter,
Radio.garden plants a world
and offers a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, faster graphics and disk
performance, brighter screen, and better audio. On some models
Apple replaced the Function row with a TouchBar. Another
change: The new generation provides only USB-C ports (four
on the 15-inch, two on the 13-inch), meaning users need an
adapter for most peripherals. E Prices range from $1,499 for
the 13-inch without TouchBar to $2,799 for the fully tricked-
out 15-inch. Learn more at www.apple.com/macbook-pro/.

EXOS app simplifies scheduling for appraisers and lenders
The free EXOS Appraiser app from
ServiceLink offers a cutting-edge and
user-friendly way to schedule residential
appraisals. It’s perfect for appraisers who
wish they had more time to accomplish
tasks and increase productivity — which is
pretty much every appraiser. It’s also ideal
for lenders because it frees them from the
rotation model and provides access to a
large, vetted virtual community of appraisers who are available when needed.
Redefining how appraisers and
The EXOS Appraiser app is designed to
simplify the appraisal scheduling process.
Appraisers use the app to note their availability and preferred geographic work area, and
customers select from those available dates
and times to schedule an appointment.
Customers can view an appraiser’s
picture and profile prior to scheduling
an appointment so they can check out
an appraiser’s expertise and verify who
will be showing up.
Appointments and assignments are
confirmed simultaneously so each party
knows when a job is scheduled, and the
app supplies appraisers with property data
and assignment instructions. Appraisers can
establish their own fees and automate some
administrative tasks on the app as well.
With EXOS there’s no more phone tag
with potential customers, and because
assignments come from within a specified
geographic region, there’s no time wasted
driving from county to county. The app
monitors an appraiser’s active assignments
